Bigger
A tingle starts in my pinkie toe.
Then it moves to my big, right toe.
Then my ankle, it starts to twitch,
And next my shins begin to itch.
Soon my knees, they start to bow.
And I’ll be darned if my thighs will grow!
But wouldn’t you know, my chest gets puffy.
And this room, it sure gets stuffy.
Oh! There goes my neck, stretching so high.
And then my arms, they reach for the sky.
And then to my mind a thought does come.
How on earth can I be so dumb?
As I get bigger, this room gets smaller.
I’ll be smooshed if I grow any taller!
So I reach for the door and turn the key,
But it doesn’t work! My hands are too bulky!
My time runs out and my head hits the roof.
I grow quite large and then I go “poof!”
