The Message
Description:
It was a cold, February morning. There were five of us gathered in the school’s TV room. It was the day of AAArt’s Redeye challenge. The challenge was to complete a short film in 24 hours. Half the script was supplied, and the participants each had to write their own endings. I wrote the last half of this film, and co-directed along with Austin Kimler and Eric Grimes. We employed the use of two cameras and even a dolly in this film. It was great fun, and I am overall pleased with what we came up with. Sadly, I wasn’t involved with the editing, and the ending was changed without my knowing. But so goes the process of film making. It wasn’t all mine anyway, so I forfeited my say when I had to leave.
Oh well. Enjoy the film.
