About

Hey there, web surfers (and potential clients)! My name is Andrew Edmark. Somehow you’ve stumbled upon my website, and now you’re wondering what it’s all about then, right?

Okay then, here’s the dirt: Currently I am a Senior student enrolled at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. My major is in Cinema, and someday I hope to become a hard-working cinematographer and ideally, if I stick with it, a director.

I’m a simple kind of guy; my pleasures in the world being of a rather artistic variety. This site is about me, and the stuff that affects me, and the stuff I love and care about. Most importantly, it’s about the stuff I think, say, and do.

I love photography, and if you check out my photography portfolio you’ll discover that I’m not lying. Aside from photography, I of course love cinema. And with that comes film making. And Writing. And singing. And playing guitar. And pretty much doing whatever I can to help change the world. It is my never-ending goal in life that, before I shuffle off this mortal coil, I will have turned the world upside down, if even for just a moment.

In my spare time I love to write and hope I can hone in my craft and create copious amounts of cool content over here at aedmark.com. I’ve got a lot of thoughts in this tiny little head of mine, and they need to get out. So keep reading, folks, something good may come.

Once again, be sure to check out my portfolio, where you can see all of my best (and some worst) work. As well, be sure to check out my award winning short film Somos Las Bolas if you get the chance. Included elsewhere on the site are old videos as well as my old poems and short stories. Most of these relics are kept here strictly for archival purposes, and I would advise you to please note that they do not reflect my current status as a writer or director in any way.

If you have any comments, complaints, or possibly love letters (the best ones come with money or chocolate), please direct them towards this guy: a.edmark@gmail.com
