About Me
Hey there, blog surfers. The name’s Andrew. Somehow you’ve stumbled upon my website, and now you’re clicking aimlessly to find out what it’s all about then, right? Well luckily you’ve clicked the right bit of text. Congratulations.
Okay then, here’s the dirt: I’m a simple kind of guy; my pleasures in the world being of a rather artistic variety. I love movies, music, photography, and writing. I also dabble in the art of computers and whatnot, but the focus of this site isn’t on the soon-to-be-mine iPod-enabled trousers or my Vista-Ready wristwatch. (Though they would be pretty tight). This site is about me, and the stuff that affects me, and the stuff I think and care about. So generally that means I will be posting photos regularly; photos of the kind that are not silly snapshots of my roommate picking his nose or of little puppies, but photos of artistic intent and quality. I love photography, with a passion, and if you check out my photo section linked above, you’ll discover that I’m not lying. I really love photography.
I am currently a Junior student enrolled at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. My major is in Cinema, and someday I hope to become a hard-working cinematographer and ideally, if I stick with it, a director. Aside from my studies, I have a pretty cushy job at the university hospital. I work an inter-departmental job among all of the communications systems. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds, though, I just do what they tell me to.
In my spare time, other than taking pictures, I love to write and hope I can hone in my craft and create a cool environment over here at aedmark.com. I’ve got a lot of thoughts in this tiny little head of mine, and they need to get out. So keep reading, folks, something good might pop out.
Be sure to check out the Photo section, and watch out for a portfolio gallery where you can purchase prints and also a sub-site where you can learn about my services as a photographer and get some pricing information.
